Civilization...

Justice - Civilization by justice

We all know the new Justice song (Radio 1 playlisted), but the video is simply amazing.

Have a nice Bank Holiday. I'm off to see Tiga tonight, then we're off to Bournemouths 60 Million Postcards on Sunday with Flash Fiktion.

Good times,

The Horrors Still Life

The Horrors are back, probably old news to most, but i just couldn't listen to it, just to nervous... Its good though, just really 80s not very dark at all, not that they're a one trick pony or anything... now they're cool an such

Holloys

Stumbled on the Holloys after hearing they're releasing a new album in the summer, and touring it in the winter... i've seriously been missing out on this! last time they were over was for the ATP curated by The Breeders, i can't believe its taken this long for them to fall on my lap. Think dance band, in the same kinda edge vein as The Rapture, or when the liars did dance music, and even with a bit of a fugazi undercurrent, all band based of course.

You can download 2 of their album's from their site HERE, i suggest you do, and keep an eye out for news on tours etc

I don't care...

I literally don't give a fuck. This is an absolute tune. So what he is pressing Vanessa Feltz, the guy sung the most addictive/ cheesy lyrics in house music history.

If you aren't bopping your head there really IS something wrong with you.

Hot Natured...

AKA Jamie Jones and Lee Foss. The men behind label of the moment Hot Creations released this absolute monster of a summer jam today on Beatport.

Expect to hear it everywhere. It has crossover appeal, in the fact that Ali Love of Justice "Civilization" fame is dropping some of the most addictive lyrics in house music since Akon on "Sexy Chick"... Well not quite, but you get the idea.

I can't go back in timeeeeeeeee!

Spectrals / Best Coast / Blink 182

Been lucky enough to catch Spectrals play a few times over the last few days, once with Best Coast at KOKO, then the other, as part of the Camden Crawl at our fave Camden haunt The Black Heart. Both shows amazing, with photos to follow i'm sure, but i'm kinda gutted i missed the last date in Brighton.... Where them and Best Coast covered the blink 182 song Dammit (vid above) hope you enjoy...
