Yelawolf was on my ones to watch at SXSW, and i didn't get round to seeing him, how gutted am i now!? This track you really don't feel unless you hear it in a club (no shit pun intended), the bass and production on this track is nuts is all i'm saying, and youtube doesnt do it justice

Everyone now knows about the death of DJ Mehdi, but his partner in crime in Carte Blance, Riton, has just posted a set of really moving images on his blog documenting their last weekend together. I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon and pretend he was my favourite DJ of all time, because he wasn't. But he was a fantastic DJ, a charismatic performer, and someone who did it all a bit different in the French Electro days.

One of my peronal favourite bands of recent times, Surfer Blood are set to release a new EP at the end of next month. Above is a video of them performing a live version of one of the new tracks "I'm not ready."

This was a real stand-out track for me when I last saw them in Berlin. I've had it on repeat for most of today, so thought I'd post it up in an attempt to get it out of my head. It hasn't worked.
