Our boy SMITH has had another track released, and it should be appearing on Radio1's playlists shortly. After finishing a mini tour, and another chicken coup, Smith took time out to sort this little party jam out. Enjoy
He was on 1xtra the other day, just incase you didnt hear
Gracie, a side project of DP faves Evil Eyes, are this lovely little lo-fi, surf, hazy of a band. Pretty much in love with "Death of the Sunset". It's one of those name your own price things on bandcamp, i'd recommend you download it
So to celebrate Bear Driver's new album dropping, buy it HERE, they're giving away this little gem. At DP we're big fans of these guys having posted about the previous 2 singles Big Love and Enemy. One of the most underrated bands in the UK at the moment!
We're so buzzed to invite our friends Man Like Me back to Luton! After putting them on nearly 3 years ago, they're back! Working with Mike Skinner on the new record, expect big things! With a live show that NEVER disappoints!
I can not stress how much i love Young Rival, this is their new single taken from their forthcoming album, "Stay Young" out 23rd October. You can also download, for FREE another track from the album, "Black is Good" if you saw them with Born Ruffians last year you would of heard it

presents the work of Julie Cook, Jane Hilton and Nancy Newberry, three
of the most innovative emerging artists currently working in
London based photographer Jane
Hilton’s series Dead Eagle Trail provides a highly individual visual
testament to the fast disappearing cowboy culture of the American west.
Hackney resident Julie Cook presents Beauties of Today a strikingly warm
and engaged portrait of London’s burlesque performers and the
environments in which they work.
are also excited that Nancy Newberry - whose work has been shown for
the first time in the UK as part of All That I Am - will also be
featured in the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize at London's
National Portrait Gallery in November. Her staged and orchestrated
portraits present Texan teenagers marking rites of passage with ‘MUM’s
(short for Chrysanthemums), an intricate sculptural rosette worn for
college graduation or the homecoming parade.
Curator Matthew Shaul will give the final talk of the series at the Gallery on Saturday October 6th at 2pm.. The
Exhibition is open to the public 2-6pm Thursday & Friday, 1-6pm
Saturday and by appointment. Admission is free. (NB due to essential
electrical work the gallery will not be open Thursday 20th and Friday
Kandle is a new addition to Backyard Recordings, a label i've always had a soft spot for. Releasing Small for free (download below, video above), this swap pop-stress is destine for great things, such a stunning sound
I always take in interested in stuff that comes out of Hamilton, Ontario. New Hands are my new favourite band from that neck of the woods. Check this dark driven indie pop gem, it's a free download too, enjoy
Swim Deep release Honey, as the follow up to probably my favourite track of the year, King City. With the likes of PEACE pushing Birmingham back into the musical spot light, it helps having other great bands to help
NPR are streaming the new XX album, buzzing. I was lucky enough to see them play at Primavera in Porto this summer. The crowd was absolutley huge (they were headlining the main stage on the final night) and it was at this point that I realised how big they are now. It's more "same but different" from them, but if it isn't broken, then why fix it?
WotNot Records have just started bumping out some fantastic tunes, and I'm looking forward to watching their next chapter of releases unfold... West Londons finest Charo has created a beautiful summer roller, with a batch of remixes matching the quality of the original. Keep your eyes peeled for these guys. BoaBoa x

The gallery is open Thursday 2 - 6pm, Friday 2 - 6pm and Saturday 1 - 6pm. It's also FREE!
I was lucky enough to get the demo of this ages ago, Young Rival were also playing this last year on tour with Born Ruffians. Suck a perfect little gem of a tune. The tempo/key change's in it kill me! Download free off the player

Don't know why i haven't done this sooner, but yeh, MT, from London, keep playing shows on Sunday and then only at koko, so its been hard for me to catch them... but here's the new single Meet Me In The Middle... and then below that is Alpha Romeo live, both ace
The Sans Pareil are special, they're pretty much one of the only goth alt country bands in the UK. With elements of the Denver scene, drawing from the likes of Slim Cessna's Auto Club and Munly Munly. Best listened to in the dark, drunk. Here's the new album
